Play Time - illustrated children book

All illustrations produced by illustrator Ricardo Jorge, during 2018, for this book, using graphite, coloured pencils and watercolours on 300g/m2 papel or grey cardboard. Along the narrative some of tradional games and play are shown, that today's parents can present to their children, during a readind together. The text, just visible in some illustrated pages, was written by António Laíns Galamba, for Play Time.

About the author

RICARDO JORGE, (Lisbon, 1978) makes his academic course between Architecture and Visual Arts Teaching at the University of Lisbon. It is mainly after starting as a teacher in Basic and Secondary levels that the production and exhibition of drawing and painting starts with more consistency, especially in non-digital media. Exhibits regularly throughout the national territory. In 2017, he was the winner of the 1st INR Prize, a finalist at the 10th International SJ Illustration Meeting in Madeira, and he released his second book, Livro Pequeno dos Amores Particulares, in Brazil and Portugal.

ANTÓNIO LAINS GALAMBA (Coimbra, 1981). Anthropologist for FCSH of UNL. He has published several titles in the area of ​​Anthropology (investigations mainly directed to the theme of resistance to Fascism and Agrarian Reform). He is a photographer, with several expositions. He has published two books of poetry (Casa das Glicínias (2013) and Confins da Criança (2016), published in 2014 «Sebastião Toupeira» with illustrations by Roberto Chichorro, a fable that tells us about the miners and their struggle for freedom.

Hard cover, sewn kernels, sheets of matt paper 170 g / m2, 36 colors.
32 pages 22 x 22 cm format.
Produced in Portugal.
The value obtained will be to defray:
- at least 1000 copies of the book.
- 50 numbered and signed prints.
- shipment by regular mail without registration, of books and packs, duly conditioned.
- Platforms PPL, Paypal, VAT rates.
- All the additional value will be channeled for greater circulation
- It is planned the dissemination and visit to schools as well as the offer of copy for libraries that gratuitously want to host the Play Time.
