With this campaign, we pretend to be the first national fashion brand to fund its promotional video by a national platform of Crowdfunding and take it to the 2018 edition of the Porto Fashion Film Festival
In 2017 we made a promotional video of one of our products - The Poncho Surf.
This video was done under a cost control policy, we also wanted that in addition to the presentation of our product and brand, that the video promoted a region / beach of our country, since it is a video that we use in several web platforms with strong international exposure, we wanted it to clearly convey the origin of the product - Portugal.
We also had the concern of choosing models that were also real surfers, so that the realism in the use of our product was transmitted in a clear and real way. We also added to this, a team of Sound and Image extremely committed to achieve the best result.
The final product had a fantastic result and completely within our reduced budget.
As if what we had already achieved was not enough, we had the audacity to take it to the competition at the Porto Fashion Festival Film, competing with fantastic videos. We managed to get the film admitted by the jury, which was a huge joy for us. When we later saw the videos of our competitors, developed with other budgets and players, we could not imagine that we could win any prize.
But that was no longer important to us, the fact that we entered the contest and we were there at that fantastic event, had already been a great reward for our brand. But it was not everything, even though it was the film that certainly had the lowest Budget in this edition of Porto FFF, we manage (with great amazement and admiration from our part)to win the Vogue award which is the only award voted by the public in this contest. We prove that after all, you can charm yourself with small budgets.
This year we would like to add one more ingredient to this set of challenges so that the video is funded by Crowdfunding and we can be the first brand to compete with a community-funded video. The main objective would therefore be to demystify the myth that in fashion one can only achieve something with large investments.
The video to be developed will have the same strategy, promote a region of Portugal, use local models and will be used in the various platforms (Marketplaces, Social Networks, Sites, etc.) where we are present.
