Help my mum after scam!
Hello!
As you know – or are about to find out – my mother fell victim to a massive fraud in 2009, after becoming widowed a couple of years before. She lost her house and got stuck with a €20,000 bank loan which she never even got to make any use of as it was part of all that was taken from her. The police filed her case after a few shorts months as they were unable to track down the fraudster. Since my mother was unable to pay back the loan, they are taking practically half of her €800 pension and impounded her car.
I help as I can but there are still three years to go before her debt is paid off, after which the problem of not having a house or car remain. In addition to that there is another issue: my mother suffers from severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and has great difficulty in moving about. My mother has dedicated her life to helping others, including by taking a train to Lisbon to help at the cancer ward in a hospital when she herself can barely function. Now it is time for her to be helped.
For this reason, I am trying to raise money to buy a car for my mother. Obviously it won’t be anything top of the line, it will be something that can drive for around €500 that she can use for her routine. Unfortunately I cannot do this by myself, so I am reaching out to you for help. Can you help me help my mother?
On a very important note, this is to be kept a secret from her. First, because she would refuse becoming a charity case if she were aware of it, and secondly because if my target isn’t reached the money will go towards paying off her debt.
