The "Música no Coração" campaign aims to guarantee financing for the Casa do Povo de Tondela, to obtain a new piano, as well as financing for the "Orquestra Geração" project.
At Casa do Povo de Tondela, free music education is guaranteed to around 60 children on the instruments of violin, cello, piano and classical guitar.
Your collaboration is essential, particularly in the acquisition of a new piano and in order to create financial conditions for the maintenance of the "Orquestra Geração" project.

About the author
Casa do Povo de Tondela is a reference association not only locally, but also from a regional, national and even international point of view, which develops its activity particularly in the recreational and cultural sphere. It currently has a Polyphonic Choir , with around 45 members who have been performing various concerts as part of choral exchange, not only in Portugal, but also abroad.
The Casa do Povo de Tondela also promotes Tours/Gatherings and holds the "Casa do Povo Convida" annually, with a wide range of musical events during Christmas and New Year.
Within the scope of music teaching, the Oficina da Música project began in 2009, with classes on various musical instruments, with classes taking place from Monday to Saturday, provided by six teachers, all with higher education in music. In the year 2024, Casa do Povo de Tondela will provide training for 60 children, which will be divided into Musical Training classes, Children's/Youth Choir, violin, cello, piano, classical guitar.
At the same time, Casa do Povo de Tondela started the " Orquestra Geração" project in 2020, with classes that take place from Monday to Saturday, provided by four teachers, all with higher education in music.
Finally, Casa do Povo de Tondela also develops sporting activities with the promotion and publicity of traditional game tournaments and the annual holding of a National Drafts Open day, in collaboration with the Portuguese Drafts Federation, and which in This year it will take place on October 26th.
