The Lisa Tamiris project was born from the dream of the young woman with creative spirit that gives it its name. Since a little girl that Lisá’s plays were performing and building what she dreamed and imagined. So she started creating her own look, from garments that she already had and reinvented or even creating others she dreamed of.
The girl grew up and so did her dream. Dedication and work joined the existing dream and creative spirit to know in detail the craft of textile confection and the contours of the female body.
To do so she studied fashion photography and then industrial fashion design. Little by little, the dream of making each woman feel unique while wearing exclusive pieces which adapt and enhance their beauty was becoming increasingly real. In 2010 it became a brand: Lisá Tamiris.
Each Lisá Tamiris garment is unique and exclusive. It is the result of many hours of affection and care because it includes details applied by hand using traditional techniques with original and modern materials.
Beachwear is not only the style with which Lisá Tamiris most identifies, it’s also the one that most people identify the brand with! They call her the bikini girl. The latest Lisá Tamiris collections were inspired in the sea and in the lifestyle around the beach culture. They were the SungaDela Bikinis, the Flor de Praia (Beach Flower) dresses and the Palm Handbags using manual techniques of crochet, knitting and palm weaving in its details.
The traditional techniques are learned from older people who still know how to do them. Lisá Tamiris seeks to cherish the techniques that tend to get forgotten and left behind by industrialization.

The Summer 2013 collections were a success and had a demand like never before. The business is growing and needs to become a company. At the same time, the 2014 collection needs to be prepared with the same care and creativity of the previous ones, but with the aim of reaching more people.
The amount raised in the campaign will be used in the following ways:
- Founding a company to apply for funds that finance qualification and equipment acquisition;
- Contracting services by professionals in different specialties;
- Purchase of materials.
