Something bigger than me

One Book. One short-story. One history. Something more for parents and their children who faced scenarios of divorce. This is a book to those parents and children who need psychological help, or even to those parents and children who want´s toget a compreension about the process of divorce and some emotional implications.

Hello to everybody,

This campaign has been formed for a publication of one book about divorce and the relations and emotions between parents and their children. In this book, you can experience many anguishes, anxiety’s, and fears, which are considered normality’s in this kind of processes.

The present short-story pretends to draw the internal world of the child, like the emotional language, which many times are compromised by the means of this process. So, this short-story pretends to talk about the necessity of the children and their parents to organize, transform, join and re-create new places and configurations about the internal states, where the love, harmony and well-being could appear.

This book would be read together by parents and their children.

In this way, I apply for your help to financier my project, because editing, in the new era, is being so difficulty, especially in Portugal, if the writer’s don´t pay for the publication. So, with some financial contribution, you will have some recompense’s, which are going to be announced later.

Finally, I believe in the potentially of this book, by the message, and the power of the paints that illustrate parts of the text.

About the author

I am a master in clinical psychology, have varied courses in the area of psychological sciences, particularly in psychological assessment, on projective methodologies, training related to dynamic models of the mind (psychoanalysis), I am a post-graduate degree in Sciences of criminal psychology, many participations in conferences, seminars, conferences and workshops, as well as oral presentations and poster in various congresses and conferences.

In terms of propaganda, there will be dissemination through between different faculties, through pages of associations and facebook pages in which dates back to connection with psychology, and the illustrator from your artistic medium, as well as in university and primary education, basic and secondary education.

Budget and due dates

It is intended to have a budget of EUR 2400, which means that the edition of the book presupposes the acquisition of 200 books to 12 euros, which concludes the value of 2400 euros. The meeting of these 2400 euros and the acquisition of 200 copies by the author, are provided to the edition of the book itself.

It is programed to have your book ready in 2018, itself, in April.

In reference to the rewards, they can be sent by mail (where it joins the value of reward and the cost of sending) or may be delivered on the day of the official presentation of the book.
