Have you ever imagined yourself back in the 1920’s in New Orleans where jazz is beginning to emerge? Can you imagine yourself walking down the street and hear music being played in the background? This event was envisioned with the intention of supporting culture and thereby publicizing the work of young artists.

This recreation will be include musicians, actors and animation as well as the décor of the venue.

About the author

We are a team of five undergraduate students of Leisure Management and Tourist Animation, from Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies.

As part of our study plan, we were asked to create, plan and implement a cultural event.

The team: Catarina Camacho, Francisco Leocádio, Margarida Rodrigues, Matilde Castro and Quadros and Sara Quartel.

In addition to our team we will also count on the remaining students of our year, who will work side by side with us.

The Crowdfunding we are undertaking will not cover all costs associated with this event. They are the following:

 Photocopies & Posters € 180

Other costs associated with decorative elements € 100

Construction and decoration of the Saloon 815 €

Hair and Make-up (in order to achieve a re-creation as true as possible) € 300
