SOPRO is organizing the crowndfunding campaign to help the Community of La Salle Brothers in Mozambique, responsible for the João XXIII School, La Salle College and La Salle Educational and Assistance Center. They are also responsible for the 150 SOPRO godchildren who attend the João XXIII School. SOPRO is also raising funds for ESMABAMA Missions, a Mozambican NGO that started its activities in 1997. It is one of the largest Mozambican NGOs with 167 employees. The main objective of ESMABAMA is to improve the living conditions of people living in the southern part of the province of Sofala, implementing education, health and income generation projects / activities. ESMABAMA reaches populations of about 500,000 people, 8,000 of them students and 1,700 poor children who live in boarding schools located in 4 locations (Estaquinha, Mangunde, Barada and Machanga), administered by the Association. In ESMABAMA the villages along the rivers have disappeared and still do not know of more than 130 employees of the Association. It is only possible to reach all the ESMABAMA helicopter places.
