I hereby ask for financial support for the acquisition of dental prosthetics that I urgently need, as I currently have difficulty chewing food, as I am losing many teeth. At the moment, I only have 3 teeth in my upper jaw and 4 teeth in my lower jaw, and this situation tends to get worse because, with the reduction in the number of teeth, those that remain lose some support, making me lose even more.

My name is Joaquim Viana, 62 years old, I have bilateral deafness, I am a Portuguese Sign Language teacher and I taught for many years at the Ministry of Education, being currently unemployed for almost 5 years. I live alone with my 19-year-old son, who attends the Faculty of Health, on the physiotherapy course.

I do not have the financial means to cover all the expenses, since, as I mentioned previously, I am unemployed, having to pay my expenses and those of my son, which are very expensive, due to the huge rise in rent prices.

The funds I raise are crucial for medical treatment, surgery and the fitting of prosthetics that will make a significant difference in my life.

I deeply appreciate any support you can offer, be it financial or simply sharing this message with your network. Every little bit helps me get closer to my goal.

Budget and due dates

A copy of the budget has been sent as an attachment. The budget given by the dental clinic is €3,876.00. I asked for €4300 because I will have to pay commissions to PPL.
