The Somos Esperança Association is tirelessly dedicated to supporting homeless people and families at risk and in extreme poverty in Olhão, a city with a significant number of families in need. We not only provide food and clothing, but also furniture and other essential needs, as well as providing a space for personal hygiene and meals. Located at Rua Almirante Reis 145, our facilities have become a beacon of light in the lives of many, serving lunch to more than 30 people daily.

We face a significant challenge, however: current kitchen equipment is not sufficient to meet demand. With a limited home cooker, the ability to prepare meals in large quantities is severely restricted. This is where your help becomes essential.

We are raising 2500 euros for the acquisition, transport, and installation of a 4-burner industrial stove and an industrial oven, essential equipment to increase our meal preparation capacity and continue our mission of helping the community. Any surplus will be allocated to the maintenance of the association, which is sustained solely through the generosity of volunteers and donors, without any government assistance.

Me, Marina, and my mother, Juliana, live in the Algarve and share a commitment to the well-being of our community. We know the difficulties of many in Olhão, especially those assisted by Associação Somos Esperança, which supports people in vulnerable situations. The association lacks adequate kitchen equipment, which limits its ability to serve meals.

We decided to take action and use crowdfunding to purchase an industrial stove and oven for the association, significantly improving its operation. We believe in solidarity and collective action as a means of overcoming adversity and making a difference. With the help of the community, we can support Associação Somos Esperança to continue its important work.

Our initiative reflects our belief in the power of generosity and the positive impact we can generate together. We invite everyone to join us in this cause, contributing to our crowdfunding campaign and helping to improve the lives of people in Olhão.
