Telephony is the new solo project by Tiago Araujo which is just starting to see daylight. In Telephony we can find the hatching grounds for drafts that were lost along the way: "[Telephony] is the result of a gathering of ideas. I came to a point where I needed to clear some space from my drawers and I started to colect anything that was similar to the sound I was looking for the project." This project drifts between Post-Rock and Ambiental, with special note to it's cinematic qualities.

The first single for "Mayday" - name of the first album - was released on the 4th of July. It's name is "Charlie" and can be heard.
The rest of the album is being cooked somewhere in Alentejo, where Tiago has seeked shelter after putting together some songs: "I got on a train with all my stuff, got to Beja and burrowed on Eduardo Monteiro's studio (whom co-produced and recorded) for a week."
"Mayday" will be released on the 25th of September this year. There will be a presentation concert in Barcelos on said day, with some guests.
The crowdfunding has the goal of financing the editing of the tracks as well as the printing of the CDs.
