Let's help 10 year old Tiago!

I'm Tiago, I'm 10 years old and I have a rare disease. My mother is unemployed and we spend € 200 a month on health. We do not have the money to buy a simple computer that would help me in school and communicate with the World.

I am Tiago, I'm 10 years old and I have a rare disease (Wilson dystonia) detected when I was 6 years old that has been getting worse, affecting my walking and speech and unfortunately there is still no cure.

I live alone with my mother, who is unemployed, in a simple house in the interior of the country (in Mação), and in 2016 a fire damaged a part of it.

We have little money and spend the majority on treatments ... In addition to many drug costs, I do physiotherapy twice a week and I do swimming to strengthen physical therapy.

My dream is to get better and have a simple computer that can help me in school, help me communicate with my friends and even with the World !!!

I used to like running, skating and skateboarding, but I can not do it any more. Sometimes I'm sad that I can not do these things, but a computer would help me study and distract myself!

About the author

The promoters are the Tiago Guifões' mother (the boy we are going to support) and Tiago Duarte, responsible for Salvador Association's communication and fundraising  (which will support Tiago this year in constructions at home), who personally met this strong family and believes we can bring happiness to this child.

His mother, despite financial difficulties and being alone, she fights everyday so that nothing is missing to her son Tiago. It is an example of overcoming!

The laptop computer costs € 546.51 + € 51.49 in campaign spending.
