The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to finance audiovisual projects authored by a group of MCANM students, from the University of Aveiro.
This campaign aims to raise funds to finance academic projects to be carried out by a group of students from the University of Aveiro. The projects consist of content from the Audiovisual area and can be a short film, series for new media, etc.
The production phase of this type of objects – which initially have no commercial interest – can entail costs in terms of:
-
Audiovisual equipment (e.g. filter/s, lighting, camera monitors)
-
Meals for the team (students, cast members and/or guests)
-
Fuel (for traveling to recording locations, among others)
-
Recording space rental
-
Financial reward to those involved (actors and/or guests)
-
Costumes, hair and makeup (for the cast during recording hours)
The group of students behind the projects intends to create the best type of proposals and quality of products to present in the course they are on, this being the Master's in Audiovisual Communication for New Media at UA. To this end, the financial resources requested are extremely important.
The group expresses its gratitude to all those who are willing to donate to the creation of Portuguese audiovisual content and contribute to the professional development of these students.
About the author
The fundraising group is made up of five students from the Master's Degree in Audiovisual Communication for New Media (MCANM) from the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro in the current academic year 2023/2024: Lídia Simões, Pedro Cruz, Rita Santos , Salomé Bentes and Simão Frade. Previously graduated from the same university, the five already have degrees in Multimedia and Communication Technologies. Together, these students not only learn technical skills, but also valuable lessons about teamwork, leadership and communication. They face challenges, overcome obstacles and celebrate each success together, forming not just a team, but a small family united by their passion for audiovisual.
