Hi there! My name is Samuel Abóbora (aka samekas) and I need your help to represent Portugal in the MMA World Championship at Las Vegas.
My participation at the amateur MMA IV Open Nacional qualified me to represent Portugal in the MMA World Championship UFC Fight Week at Las Vegas.
Unfortunately, even tho I was qualified for the World Championship, there are no fundings for athlets to cover this sport participations (travel, hotel, etc).
However, I was able to support some of the cost's (registration and hotel), but I still need funds to cover the plane travel cost.
I'm here to ask support to raise funds for the travel that will allow me to represent Portugal in the Biggest MMA event of the world.

My name is Samuel Abóbora, I'm 31 years old and I'm an MMA amateur athlet at Portugal Gold Team.
I'm practicing MMA for 9 months, but I've been following the sport for many, many years. I always wanted to give it a try, but for personal and work reasons I haven't been able to.
The oppening of Phoenix Sport Center in Queluz and the partnership with Portugal Gold Team we're a blessing oportunity for me to finally start practicing. My first class with Victor "kiko" Marinho was inspiring and in really good hands.
After a few weeks of practicing, I decided it was time to compete at amateur level. I ranked 2nd place at my first participation in IV Open Nacional, -70,3kg category.
My presence reached CAPMMA eyes, who have invited me to participate in the MMA World Championship at Las Vegas between 5 and 10 of July at the UFC Fight Week.
Budget and due dates
Even tho I've been able to support registration and hotel, I still need to gather funds for the Plane Travel to Las Vegas.
Competition start's 5th July and I'll be traveleing 3th of July among the Portuguese comite who will represent Portugal in the World Championship. I plan to attend my goal before 27th July.
