We are final year students of FMUL, responsible for organizing the best night of Medicine ever! The November 5, 400 students will take to the stage at Campo Pequeno.
Night of Medicine is a spectacle created by students from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL). The first Night of Medicine, entitled What Burns… Cures!, took place at the Politeama Theatre in 1929.
The event has grown tremendously over the years. This year the live spectacle will take place at the Campo Pequeno Arena, on the 5th of November. Approximately 400 students will step onto the stage in front of 3500 people. Through satire, music, dance, theater performances and video sketches, they will discover and share their own stories.
Noite da Medicina 2014 - Campo Pequeno
Night of Medicine is a unique opportunity to bring together students and their community. Additionally, it is our biggest freshers’ welcome event and a token of gratitude from the final-year students, since all the academic community may attend the event without charge. Finally, it is a charitable project, including activities like a blood drive, bone marrow donor registry, charity barbecue, etc. because we believe that we may and we must be changemakers and make a real difference.
A doctor who only knows about Medicine does not even know Medicine, so let’s discover and nurture talent, provide a meaningful arts experience, foster teamwork and solidarity among med students, tomorrow’s doctors!
