We believe that more than a "Story", this project has a strong impact on the reference of human values. Such as: loss of loved ones, loneliness, literature as travel transportation, reunions, love, music and a newborn \child, are approached in a way Subtle but current, softly described but goals in the message ...

This book is dedicated and written for  7 to 13 years old children. 

 This will be a book to raise questions .... and answers. It also demands an honest and true sharing of affections ... from "inside out" ... A book in which we easily identify with the characters ...

The characters in the book are different and bold. João, the young man with the chocolate-colored hands, is mute, having as his mouthpiece his violin that captivates sublime those who listen to him...and it is through him that he can live in the heart of Cerejinha. Maria is a young woman who grows up and lives with her feet on the sand and her dreams go beyond the horizon of the ocean ... Maria dances and enchants everyone with her magic cherry-colored hair, who now win Snails, when she is  sad ... sometimes they stretch, getting long, long...when she is happy.

This will be the first work of a collection of Inclusive books, where the characters can be: you, me or the next door neighbor ... Be part of this chain of  Love !

About the author

Rui Machado and Carla Monteiro are both residents of the municipality of Valongo. They are more than professional partners in the wanderings of literature. They are two friends, who also share dreams and wishes, where culture and education live, closely, neighborly with the affections that matter so much ... Licensed by the ULPorto, not active, seek between keys and brushes, to approach the world as They come ... without boundaries, without games.

Rui Machado: Launches in 2014 - Finally Mar, in 2015 - A way to Continue, by Chiado publisher; 2016- Any day, Amo-te- Editora - Mosaico de Palavras, counts still with innumerable literary interventions published in the field of the tale, chronicles and poetry. But Rui Machado is not only an excellent writer. He is also a man of intense social activity. Graduated in Health Psychology and Master in Clinical Psychology, he joins his academic training to activities in defense of people with disabilities. He is a member of the coordinating committee for (e) Outrageous Efficients, the director of the Independent Living Center, the Ethics Committee of the Association of the Port of Cerebral Palsy, the "Sex and Relationships" group of the European Network on Independent Living and co-creator of the linked movement To demystify the sexuality of people with functional diversity "Yes, we fuck." Among his varied activities related to these areas, he trained in Multimedia and worked in advertising. In the last year, he was involved in the Windows Project where, together with caregivers and technicians, it sought to promote the psycho-affective development of people with neurodiversity.

Carla Monteiro: developed over the years, literature projects for adults and literary projects in the form of books of illustrated stories directed to the universe of children and youth. Besides the academic training in psychology, I have a relevant baggage in plastic arts, from painting, assembly, collage, recycling, sculpture ... and a great creativity, which I never lack ... Participation and organization of Events, as Director of the Recreativo- Cultural Association of Students of the ULP. Individual exhibitions of Painting and Plastic Arts in various galleries and Cultural Centers.
