Seeking the Perfect Line is a short film about the irrational human desire to correct their actions. We all already wanted to change the script of our lives.

Who?

We are a crew of new Cinema graduates from the University of Beira Interior (UBI). A large part of our team has been united since the course’s second year, having produced in 2015 the film Breaking Through Delusion, which debuted the past March 4th, in Fantasporto 2016, and is currently running in national and international festivals.

We don’t want to stop creating new realities! But once again, we need your help!

What?

Seeking the Perfect Line is a metalinguistic comedy. After a break-up, a young adult still in love discovers a hole in his existence. If he manages to find the film’s screenwriter, he may be able to alter the outcome of the fight and fix the moment that ruined his life.

This is our first independent project. Having completed our course, we now step into a new phase of our lives. This film will represent our creative emancipation as the first time we will have total freedom to explore our ideas. Similarly to how the previous project unfolded, we again want you to be a part of our team and to allow us to show what we can do with film. Making Portuguese cinema is a thrilling adventure only possible with willpower and a proactive spirit, in order to move all the necessary human and material means. Your help is, of course, indispensable. There are always unavoidable expenses required to allow a proper film production and adequate work conditions for a crew that doesn’t aim to make money from this project, but rather to live the dream of filmmaking in this country.
