Dressify is an online platform that allows everyone to define and create new trends in the fashion world, giving also the opportunity to buy exclusive articles of clothing for women

This story begun much earlier than this new adventure that is now taking shape…. I wanted a Crystal Palace at 6 years old. But crystal production is not Alentejo’s strong suit. I created a music festival in the garage at 8. It was a success, attracting all the neighbours. I began my own laboratory at 9. But saving people was not enough for the amount of blood I had to see. A clothing store at 12. But it wasn’t giving me enough money…

This was how, without realizing it, the monster of entrepreneurship broke its leash: ideas, which when stimulated in the right way increasingly generated more ideas. It has always been here, but the story that now starts it’s not only about entrepreneurship… Clothes for me have always been a form of self-expression. From freelance designers, to fashion students or simply, fashion lovers, everyone has the opportunity to sketch their dream article of clothing, have it produced by us and then have the opportunity to sell it to the general public.

Our service makes it possible for everyone to find limited collections and encounter offers that cannot be found elsewhere.

Dressify will be responsible for managing and maintaining the platform, as well as all the production and distribution of the articles. The creators simply have to submit their creations, while buyers will have access to exclusive offers.

Using the crowdfunding model, we took advantage of the power of the community to make the projects displayed, a reality.

The creator will have to upload their article, which then will be cast into a vote by the community, with the most popular projects advancing to the next stage. It will be then displayed in our website, having the opportunity to be finally produced and marketed.

In order for this to happen, our team will define the amount by which the article will be marketed and the minimum orders requirement to make it feasible.

During the following step, the jurisdiction is given to the general public. In other words, they must elect the article they want to have in their wardrobe. If the articles reach the pre-set number of orders for the production to take place, the lucky and edgy customers will have this exclusive and unique article delivered at home. Otherwise, the money will be returned to the buyers and the article will not be produced.

Right now, our team is committed to proceed with the project towards a beta phase. The plan is set, we just need help to kick-off.

Funding: 

The money given by donors will be used to develop the platform, for the production of the first prototypes, to rent the warehouse, and of course, to give a little help to provide the unique rewards that we are offering you. 

About the author

Inês Sousa: “Who needs sleep when you’re creating greatness?” 

As manager, her job is to create programs and projects in order to shape the strategy of the company and to design the company's advertising and sales goals. In addition, she is also responsible for keeping the team´s morale high. 

Inês & Filipe: "Finding the perfect balance between the art and the science of web design” 

With the role of designers, they deal with the creative work for the marketing department. Graphic designers use the directions of the marketing department to create the art evolving the project. 

Luis & Cátia: "Moving people and projects toward a beautiful launch.” 

As head of the marketing and operational departments, they are responsible for the overview and promotion of the whole project, as well as making sure that the logistics are aligned with the ultimate strategic objectives of the company. Their tasks are related to the upgrade of the company's website, to the recommendation of ideas for possible initiatives and also to the research, analyzing trends and changes in the fashion industry. At the same time, they will have to keep a close relationship with the key manufacturers and distributors. 

Budget and due dates

O dinheiro que doares será utilizado para o desenvolvimento da plataforma, para a produção dos primeiros protótipos, aluguer de armazém, promoção da ideia e claro, dar uma ajudinha para as originais recompensas que te vamos oferecer.
