AgulhaeDedal's Academy- the first portuguese e-learning website for sewing and creativity.

The "AgulhaeDedal's Academy" wants to be the e-learning site for everyone who is curious, enthusiastic and sewing lovers

If you always wanted to learn how to sew, but never find the time or there is no place to teach you near your home, this is your site!

How many times you wanted to hem your favorite pants, make your own clothes, sew your christmas presents? And what if all of this options where just a click away, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? We have several sewing kits e workshops with step-by-step videos, with the sewing kits you will receive all the materials in the size and colours you choose, with the workshops you only need our tutorial videos and they are available in your account area in the academy's website.

We can't make your day stretch to 25 hours a day or make a 9 day week, but we can be with you in your sewing moment,at your house, day or night.

 

 

About the author

The team AgulhaeDedal: Me, Myself and I! 3 in 1, Alexandra Costa- Entrepreneur, seamstress, in love with teaching people to sew!

The motivation for  these project is to take sewing further, closer to those who want to learn, but can’t find the time due to family obligations,work or distance. Now I will meet my students, day or night, from  monday to sunday. I  will be at AgulhaeDedal’s Academy  with a new project, ready to be a new challenge we will face and win, you are welcome to join us!

Don’t know how to sew? You will get over it…

Why not offer one of our workshops to your best friend or even your mother-in-law, She will love  it and you will have free hems …

Share our project with your family and friends, and give us your like at facebook, leave us a message of encouragement or even a review to makes us better.

Budget and due dates

Cost of E-learning platform "AgulhaeDedal’s Academy":

*E-learning website- construction, maintenance, hosting: 1200 € + VAT = € 1,476 (VAT calculated at 23%, legal rate)

Cost of sewing kits (values with VAT):

*Fabrics (mixed fabrics) € 1,200

*Haberdashery (lines, pins, needles, etc.) 450 €

*Printed patterns, labels for boxes and shipping € 125

*Packaging (boxes for Kit's) € 200

The amounts to invest is greater than requested in the project (total investing € 3,451, € 1,500 amount requested), the remaining amount will be invested by the entrepreneur.

Deadlines: E-learning website “ AgulhaeDedal’s Academy” working with online workshops starting from June 15; Shipping the kits with materials starting from 12 June.

    Weekend “Sewing Bootcamp”

    A whole weekend, Saturday and Sunday (or other days you choose ...) from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00 for a group of up to 6 people (or just for yourself ...), with sewing 101, tips, projects, etc ... all your doubts, unanswered questions and everything else! I'll be at your full disposal with all my sewing knowledge, patterning and creativity. Valid program for individuals or groups with a maximum of 6 people, subject to prior notice and to take place in the "AgulhaeDedal" store in Lisbon.
