Orelhas Sem Dono has been helping several stray animals with serious health problems. At this moment, this association needs to pay its debts to be able to continue and help more animals. Without your help, this will be impossible.
The Orelhas Sem Dono Association is made up of volunteers and is responsible for caring for various domestic animals that are in shelters or temporary foster families, ensuring their well-being in all areas, from food to veterinary care.
Donations are the only way to cover our expenses, allowing us to continue rescuing and saving animals at risk.
We are looking for support to deal with the high veterinary costs resulting from treatments carried out on sick animals or animals rescued from the streets, which often require expensive surgeries.
The established financial goal will cover all outstanding expenses we have.
Our intention is to continue with this work to help and rescue animals. We count on your contribution to continue.
About the author
Orelhas Sem Dono emerged from the lack of a person who rescued and directed abandoned animals for adoption, with the aim of increasing the visibility of these animals and facilitating their adoption. From this need, the Orelhas Sem Dono project originated, present on the social networks Facebook and Instagram, and which gradually gained the collaboration of other people. Initially conceived as an informal initiative by a group of individuals who rescued, cared for and sent abandoned animals for responsible adoption.
The project grew and in 2022 the Orelhas Sem Dono Association was born.
It is a non-profit entity, legally constituted and based in Barcelos. Within our possibilities, we collect, treat and send stray animals (dogs and cats) for adoption. We don't have physical space, we use temporary foster families or hotels to house the animals.
All of our work is done by volunteers and in partnership with some veterinary clinics that allow us to pay our debts in installments. We survive on donations, and this is how we support the expenses we have at the Association, so that we can continue to collect and save animals from the streets and/or in danger of death.
