Creation of a job for a woman in the rural world

Following the Equal Rural project, we launched the creation of a job for women in the rural world. This job is intended to create a support network and boost the role of women in Agriculture.

Inovterra - Association for Local Development, has been developing several projects linked to gender equality in Agriculture for several years.

We develop and explore the role of women in agriculture. In 2022, Inovterra and four other partners developed and implemented a project called "Equal Rural". This project was implemented in Portugal and Spain, with the main objectives being the training of women active in the agricultural sector and their empowerment.

Therefore, following our work, we launched a crowdfunding action on World Women's Day to create a job for a woman in the rural world. The woman to be employed will promote the rural world and empower women in the agricultural sector through their training.

This job is intended to create a support network and boost the role of women in Agriculture.

Inovterra - Association for Local Development, is headquartered in Vila Pouca de Salzedas, parish of Salzedas, municipality of Tarouca, district of Viseu.

Faced with the situation of abandonment in rural areas, the desire to do more grew, to turn people's gaze towards the land and its potential.

This is how Inovterra was born. An Association for Local Development that has been developing the potential of the region that was previously little considered. Budget and due dates

The amount to be raised for this project is 5000.

The remuneration amount is 1000 euros.

Add the social security value of 24.5%.

This value is multiplied by 14 months.
