Olarilolé! Olarilolé! Helping CLUB K will feel good! They want to go to the National Championship! And with your help it always opens! We're counting on you to help the 23/24 youth 🏐 of Clube K 🔴⚫️ make history!

WE ARE REGIONAL CHAMPIONS 23/24.

In our Region, athletes dream of the trips that are normally associated with participating in regional and national competitions. These are moments of personal enrichment and the creation of stories for life, the result of the experiences they will have and the realities they will come to know.

The Clube Kairós youth men's team, in this 2023/2024 season, has already managed to experience this reality in the Regionals, as the 2nd phase and final were both held on the island of Flores - Azores.

The time has come for these athletes to live their main adventure, by participating in the Final 8 of the National Volleyball Championship for the Male Youth Level, which will take place in Mainland Portugal (we still don't know the location, because the draw is only on the 7th of May).

The squad has 15, who have strived to be called up and thus be included in the squad.

We also intend to organize a Competitive Internship for Participation in the Final Phase of the 2023/2024 National Championship, which will take place from May 17th to 20th in Portugal.

We want to provide a trip with greater conditions for better participation in the competition, with the necessary rest and return without pressure, starting the trip on the 16th and returning only on the 20th, thus also carrying out several activities together, in addition to the 3 games of the final phase.

But the legislated support does not cover all athletes (it only covers 11 athletes and 2 coaches) and does not cover days other than games, nor extra activities.

Our program includes:

• Adaptation Game-Training to time and climate;
• Group socialization activities;
• Teamwork dynamics;
• 3 final stage games;
• Cultural visits,

everything being embodied in a set of experiences, learning and enrichment of technical-personal skills consistent with the construction of the profile of Athlete and Person that is intended at Clube Kairós.

Objective:

This activity aims to strengthen the team's bonds, grow as a group and create the ideal conditions for a historic participation in Final 8 of the 23/24 National Championship, and has the following objectives:

1st - concentrate the athletes in the 3 games;
2nd - develop group and team spirit;
3rd - relax by participating in a social program;
4° - allow them to adapt to the environmental conditions they will encounter on the days of the competition.
but also provide moments and experiences for each athlete, providing them with a special activity with different moments and from different areas of activity, thus contributing to their personal development.

Above all, by contributing you will be helping to train more qualified and prepared Men who intend to help develop Sport in the Region, making a difference and marking a new era, contributing to implementing the MISSION of the Organization of which the Club is part, KAIRÓS .

About the author

The athletes that make up the Kairós Club Youth team have achieved notable feats in their young career in national volleyball, the most recent of which, reaching 3rd place in the National Championship in the beginners' category in the 2022/3024 season.

This team belongs to Clube K, created on 15-11-2000, with the aim of combating social exclusion through sports, because they believed that respect for the rules, group spirit, cooperation and mutual help are values transmitted easily through sport. The Club has a long history in volleyball.

The K club is one of the areas of KAIRÓS – Cooperative for the Incubation of Solidarity Economy Initiatives.

KAIRÓS intervenes in favor of human advancement. It encourages people to be the protagonists of their own appreciation, following the path of autonomy, quality of life and happiness. This is your Mission. Every day. Since November 3, 1995.

The club's philosophy, over the years, has been to provide as many experiences as possible to enable the development of each athlete, whether on a sporting or personal level, always in full communion with those in charge of Education and Supporters, and always in spirit of integration and inclusion that guides KAIRÓS.

In 2023/2024 this team participated in the 28th edition of the Centenary Tournament, becoming Vice-Champion, after losing in the Final against the Azores National Team of its age group, where 6 athletes from our team were present.

In the final game, distributed between the 2 teams, there were ALL 15 athletes that make up the 2023/2024 squad.

It is also worth noting that the squad includes an athlete who was called up in the 2023/2024 season and participated in training for the under-18 National Team.

Clube Kairós has men's and women's teams at all levels (with the exception of female juniors), from minivolleyball to seniors, having even developed a project called Pulguinhas with children from 3/4 years old.

The work carried out by the Club at these ages serves as a complement to that which is carried out informally at home in games and in kindergartens, namely in Coriscolândia through Club coaches who are monitors there, in what can be called "Pre-Pulguinhas ".

Budget and due dates

This project is financed in part by the Club, sponsors and by a registration from the athletes themselves.

The total budget is around 6,100 euros, of which we have already raised or financed around 59%.

The amount we are projecting in this crowdfunding, 3,600 euros, will cover expenses related to travel (€417) and transport (€270), accommodation (€1,260), food (€540), clothing (€710) , transport to the activities to be carried out (€100), entry to the visit site (€50) and miscellaneous material (€250).
