The project is based on weaving and trapology techniques in a link between traditional and innovation combined with design. Support will be for the purchase of a manual loom to produce OUR and YOUR custom parts.
The project appears as a continuation of a work already done in the past, that lived asleep and prepares to be born again, it is mine, it is yours and all of those that I will have the opportunity to know and to work.
When you buy "Moagem do Linho" products, you will have access to a contemporary design product associated with traditional techniques that link the past and the future.
Textile yarns and wastes come to life by being cut into rags and fabrics on the hand loom that I intend to acquire, so that they can be transformed into original and personalized pieces, which will be testimony to the fact that nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
The pieces will be available online, in partner stores among other places that will be associated with this project. The transmission and sharing of knowledge are also part of this project, and it is planned to promote training and workshops open to the general public.

About the author
My name is Anabela, I am the founder of "Moagem do Linho", designer, entrepreneur and artisan. I graduated in Industrial Design in Lisbon and returned to its origins - Vila Velha de Ródão. Here I had the opportunity to learn the techniques of trapology and weaving, with my local artisans Maria do Céu Marques, Cesaltina Pires, Laurinda Feijão and Júlia Silva who accompanied me on this path of learning and sharing and who made me fall in love with the wonderful work manual that can be done with a loom and a sewing machine.
Each one of us had to follow his path, but now I want to grow more in this world and do more ... work with new craftsmen and new designers and one of these examples is the work done in partnership with Designer Maria João Fernandes - Golden Olive , which will be one of the pieces to perform.

Bom dia!!! Nem sempre é fácil
Bom dia!!! Obrigada do fundo do coração. Beijinho
