Elegy

This is the beginning of an old dream, my first book. Elegy is a book that brings together poetry, reflections and excerpts from letters that deal with different aspects of human existence.

The selected texts followed me for 10 years.

I read them all through, assemble them, worked on the editorial design and production during the same months of pregnancy that I live in the present moment. In fact, the whole process that brought me here has already given me more than I expected to achieve. The next step is to print the book!

By publishing the book, I release a part of me and I realized recently that it makes more sense if this process envolves everyone who reads me. I found in crowdfunding this concept, a community that believes and builds bridges of culture, art and knowledge, allied to a closer and global way of achieving goals.

When I read a book, it arrives at the right time to guide me or to awaken me something necessary to my life purpose. In the same way, I believe that the ''Elegy'' will meet the already predestined souls.

To achieve this goal, in total is required 1,350€.

About the author

Author and Promoter

I was born in Portugal, Cascais, but I am a world citizen.

I studied design, took a backpack and traveled through South America. I moved abroad where I learned a lot by helping autistic children and afterwards I went back to my roots where I continued my path as a volunteer at the Lisbon Cancer Institute in pediatrics and now as a future mother.

Throughout my life I have been finding in writing a company that has become a form of therapy. It is part of my self-healing process to better understand who I am, accepting all my sides looking at each Being as unique, as a whole, always trying to respect their origins, their rights, their line of thought, their time.

- Printing 250 books = 1225.46€

- Commission costs of 5% of the PPL + Costs of commissions of payments of 2.5% + VAT = 124.54€

Deadlines

Distribution estimated up to 1 month after the books printing production.
