Casa do Brasil de Lisboa has been promoting Brazilian culture, Portuguese-speaking countries and other immigrant communities since its founding 25 years ago, through its Communication and Events department. However, the sound equipment no longer guarantees the musical quality required for presentations.

Casa do Brasil is a non-profit civil association and its cultural activities are done free of charge.

The accomplishment of artistic activities in Casa do Brasil was and is of fundamental importance for the integration of the migrant community in Portugal, the artists who live here and for the promotion of dialogue among all the cultures that inhabit the city of Lisbon. So that Casa do Brasil can continue to promote social transformation through culture, with concerts, lectures, theater, dance and other events, support this campaign for the purchase of sound equipment. About the author

Casa do Brasil de Lisboa is a non-profit civil association founded in January 1992 by Brazilians living in Portugal and Portuguese friends of Brazil, open to all nationalities. It is the oldest and largest association of immigrants linked to the Brazilian community in Portugal.

Located in Luz Soriano street, 42 - Bairro Alto (since 2010), the association is a plural space where all activities developed, both in the area of direct support to immigrants and in cultural development, are intended to be a mechanism for social transformation.

Budget and due dates

Casa do Brasil intends to purchase a basic sound system: two active JBL boxes (including tripod), two Shure brand microphones (cable and tripe), one D.I. of the Millenium brand and finally a return to the stage of The Box brand. We already have a sound table with 12 channels of the YAMAHA brand. It will also require some cables, screws, extensions and also the rectification of the electrical part where the system will be connected. So we made a budget on the German site Thomann that totals € 1,305. The rest will be the commission of the tool that executes this campaign and also for the purchase of materials for the installation of the system.
