MARCA | The solidarity event that will change lives

This campaign aims to raise funds to cover the costs of the solidarity event MARCA.

The MARCA is a solidarity event organized by the Marcamos a Diferença association, along with Musicasa, and its sole purpose is to raise funds for various associations of a social nature, all of which are not for profit. 

There are 7 associations that benefit directly from the funds raised in the MARCA and all of them have as main objective the realization of holiday camps for institutionalized and disabled children and youth. 

If we are successful, the MARCA will fund holiday camps for over 550 children and young people! 

Basically, we are trying to help children and young people who, unfortunately, were not born under the same conditions as us. 

On 28 April, the 2nd edition of this event will take place at the São João de Brito College (in Lisbon), which last year was a great success. 

This success comes not only from our work. It comes, in large part, from the goodwill and availability of all those who believe in this cause and are willing to support us.

About the author

Musicasa is an online platform that connects music teachers to anyone who wants to play an instrument.

The Marcamos a Diferença Association is made up of 25 young people who want to leave a mark in a world where, unfortunately, some social causes are forgotten.

Together, the idea was born of using the means of Musicasa to create a solidarity event, through which we could make a difference and change, on our scale, the lives of the most disadvantaged children and young people.

We joined forces and puff!, MARCA was born.

Budget and due dates

The objective of the event is to raise the necessary funds for the event, so that the funds raised raise funds for the institutions' holiday camps.

We need 3000 € to cover MARCAs costs!

With this amount we managed to fund the event, in which we hope to raise about € 15,000, which will in turn finance holiday camps for more than 550 institutionalized children or youth with disabilities.

The event will take place on 28 April and the campaign will run until 8th May.
