It's Happening is a cultural event in Lisbon, focused on the school community and open to the whole family.
It's Happening is a cultural festival which objectives are the following:
- To promote and fund young artists and school students
- Educate and raise the awareness of the role of art in society
- Create an environment of social interaction where everyone is welcome - from the youngest to the oldest.
Held periodically in different schools, it aims to promote various artistic fields (Visual Arts, Music and Performance Arts) in a cooperative, dynamic and family friendly environment.
Through a Call for Artists we open the doors to any artist who wants to participate in the event, providing spaces for exhibitions, a stage for performances (concerts, plays, dance, circus arts) and rooms where you can hold film sessions, workshops, presentations of partner entities.
It's Almost Happening
We have a family space, where the younger ones are invited to explore their creativity in a fun and educational way.
In the artistic market, you can find a diverse selection of craft products, giving preference to local artists.
Half of the value of each ticket goes to the artists. The participants choose who to donate to by giving the detachable parts of the ticket directly to the artist.

With your help, through the crowdfunding campaign that we have available in PPL, it will be possible to create this event. We have several possibilities for participation, for individuals, for families and for companies. It is part of the concept that the public pay to the artists, however we want to provide quality in the event therefore there are many costs involved in the process
