At  WTF Shoes, we are going to create trends about Portuguese footwear for the  Portuguese audience and also worldwide, with our goals pointed to B2C, and also C2C. People more than never want to connect to other people, they run of big companies and enterprises, and bloggers, open communities are stronger day after day, increasing their strength as opinion leaders near the crowds and media.

There is a need of creating trends, without following others, making a statement of originality, promoting brands, reuniting  efforts and value, in and outdoors, with the main goal on the horizon  - promoting Portuguese Footwear for Portugal  and all around the World. WTF Shoes has born!

In December  2013 there will be 2,3 billions of people using social media all around the planet, 1 in 3 persons. For the ones who lead companies, there is no other way – you must join this trend and earn money inside it.

It´s interesting to find that the same consumers that do not believe in brands and it’s advertisements, have a very different behaviour strangers: almost 52% believe in the opinion of a stranger! To use this in the behalf of brands it’s one of WTF Shoes goals.

We choose the Russian market as a first effort because of its high potential to the Portuguese brands and manufacturers, and  also in social media abilities.
Also China is in our horizon, because of the increasing of middle class and because they use other kinds of social media, and they are about 100 millions of users, using social media even for shopping. Raren is Chinese Facebook and it’s our intend to build a community on it!

These are the next steps of  WTF Shoes in the future!

All begin in black days, during a personal struggle against unemployment, and after brainstorming, on line discussions , all ended in a very old women passion : Shoes!

This project is different, because intends to be near to the buyers, urban tribes, that talk about shopping with friends, who buy what their friends also buy, who think themselves as cool, trendy, fashion. Who share information with worldwide friends, with ERASMUS friends, as an example.  Young, teenagers, young adults, aged between 17-35, who we want to use Portuguese footwear, to talk about Portuguese footwear.

The beginning numbers are inspiring because already reached 4000 users in few weeks, from all around the world, and still rising!

We already have pages in English and Russian:
http://wtfshoesrussia.blogspot.pt/
http://wetrendforshoes.blogspot.pt/

Have presence in the following social media:

Facebook/Pinterest/Twitter/Vimeo/YouTube/VK/

Our own TV Chanel on Portuguese Media MEO:

WTF Shoes – Chanel 508800

We already have the collaboration of important brands, new designers, manufacturers and on line communities, one of them, I Love Porto, with more than 250 000 members, who shared our work. Also designers started to share our publications in their pages, and sending us information about new collections.
Also a partnership has been established with Portuguese main portal,
www.sapo.pt, in their channel Sapo MulherWTF Shoes is already responsible for publishing a pair of Portuguese footwear everyday, 2 articles per week, and in the future more things are to be done.

We have the strength and hard working  to go further with the project, and as the world speaks about Choo’s, Louboutin’s, Prada...we are struggling to get our Portuguese brands in the voice and feet of the worlds. Because our footwear industry has quality, know-how, family heritage, innovation and a mash up between the old and the new.

Our future is Portuguese Footwear, in all you can imagine and not imagine yet!
