This is a project about the Villages with less population density; and very uncertain future; The death of the village is the strongest possibility. Our goal throughout the project is to reveal the lives of these people and hear the stories that they have to tell us, to conserve human richness and civilizational. We intend to collect the rural experiences in a quality work both photographic level and document level

Diogo Teles (Me) e 2 more friends, Miguel Fernandes, and Fernando Pinto intend to carry out a project ethno- photographic in the municipality of Vinhais, on the villages of the county

We chose this part of the country because of the varied and rich human heritage, cultural and landscape. And because we believe it is in these remote areas that conserves a large set of customs and traditions, which are visible in the daily lives of these people, and it's important to record and preserve, not because they are picturesque, but because they contain civilizational wisdom that is valuable to keep generations to come.

This project emerged in the mind of the promoter due to the numerous visits that he makes to his grandparents, they live in Edral parish in the village of Lomba Brito, the Vinhais county. One day he found himself wanting to know more about their past, the experiences and traditions. But what made him want to start this project was when his grandfather told him that people like the grandson, young, are no longer interested in agriculture and people like him, old, who still know how to do things, are disappearing. Nowadays young people don't want to know the villages, much less hear about agriculture. They only care about technologies, friends and they forget that they have family in the villages.

Our goal throughout the project is to reveal the lives of these people and hear the stories that they have to tell us, to conserve human richness and civilizational. We intend to collect the rural experiences in a quality work both photographic level and document level.
