Livros de Ontem publishing house and the project  The Art Boulevard are pleased to introduce you Penelope collection.

This publication brings together in one book 10 stories, 10 photographs and 1 illustration of 21 new portuguese-speaking authors, thus giving them an opportunity to show their work and integrate in the publishing world.

The first number of this great collection has the theme "Freedom, Fear and Loneliness", thus promoting works of great artistic quality and depth.

The Penelope collection is intended to be a showcase for the high artistic and literary quality of new authors, as well as constituting a means of promoting and supporting young portuguese-speaking artists.

The winning authors of the competition for the first edition of the Penelope collection were:

Short Story: Álvaro Cordeiro, Ana Rita Sousa, Bárbara Lopes, Hélder Magalhães, Luísa Carvalho, Cidália Carvalho, Rita Só, Sílvia Mota Lopes, Soraia Ribeiro, Vasco Ricardo.

Photography: Catarina Lopes, Flávio Moreira, Felipe Almeida, Fabielle Vieira, Paulo Cintra, Marina Barbim, Ricardo Reis Pereira, Ana Costa, Cristiana Gomes, Fábio Roque.

The first edition of the collection also includes a short story by guest author Edson Athayde recognized writer and publicist.

Livros de Ontem publishing house is pleased to invite you to participate in the publishing of this work through crowdfunding contributions that, in this case, act as a pre-purchase of the book and give access to unique and exclusive offerings such as the inclusion of your name in the printed version.

 NOTE: The book has the value of 12 € during crowdfunding campaign and 14 € after closing the same.

1st edition limited to 500 copies. 

All copies are numbered.

As a way of promoting entrepreneurship and sustainability of crowdfunding, we established an internal policy to reinvest in PPL platform 10% of the total ammount raised for our projects. Help us promote the crowdfunding!

The Art Boulevard

The Art Boulevard is a network of artistic opportunities which is part of the Living Art project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Cross-border Cooperation Spain-Portugal Program.

Budget and due dates

After financing the collection Penelope, the amount raised will be fully ducted by the publisher for printing the books. Supporters will be contacted by the publisher after the end of the campaign for the names to be mentioned in the acknowledgments and delivery address for the rewards. The rewards will be sent two weeks after the close of the campaign.
