From the authors of Marx na Baixa, the play that brought Howard Zinn and Karl Marx to Lisbonm, Homem Morto Não Chora is a political theater project about corruption, capitalism and the current situation of Portugal. With no support from the Portuguese government, we hope to raise 1000 euros to pay for the setting, publicity and technical equipment.

Nervous like a caged beast, the minister waits for the journalist, his former student. It will be his last interview, the last chance to justify himself. But between guilt and redemption there are formidable obstacles: an unpredictable journalist, the shadow of the real power and the struggle of an entire people. Quickly, the interview ceases to be one, the interviewer becomes the interviewee, accusations are exchanged and a terrible secret threatens to be revealed.
