My goal is to create a high quality line of body and face cosmetics using vegetal ingredients exclusively, completely free of any kind of chemicals, animal products or mineral oils.

There are many products labelled as ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ that still contain sulfates. The Oliveira JCO cosmetics are not only natural (made of essential oils mixed with carrier oils such as olive and grapeseed oil just to name a few)  they are, most importantly, free of SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) which are known to be linked to some potential health problems. 

My aim is also to create a fair and transparent type of business and communicate with our future clients in simple and informative ways and less via classic advertising.  The message of Oliveira JCO's brand will always be "clean" and "clear".

We already have a pre-agreement with an independent lab that already declared the excellence of the formulae.

About the author

I became interested in fragrances and aromas at a young age. My father worked as a chemist in a cosmetics factory and thus, I got to spend many days of my childhood among essences, oils, "strange" bottles and decanters.
 
Over the years, my professional life took a different path than my father's. Until recently it was linked mainly to marketing and sales. However, the memory of the chemistry lab remained vivid so one day I decided to acquire an alembic, turn my kitchen into a lab and this is how a new hobby was born. In no time I became so passionate about the study of plants, health, and chemistry that, inevitably, my professional life has also changed its course.

I dedicated myself entirely to this new project!

Budget and due dates

The funds (4300€) are intended to meet the costs related to legal records and certifications of products / formulae so that they can be marketed in accordance with national and international standards. Deadlines estimated: 1 - Collecting funds until April 8, 2016. 2 -The records and the production will take about 45 days. 3 - From June 1, 2016 the rewards will be sent and the sales process will begin.
