A short film produced as a final project for the Sound and Image Bachelor's degree at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto.
Sinopsys: “Afonso owns a videoclub where he rents part of his movie collection. When calling to clients who have yet to deliver their rents, he calls Maria, a woman living in 1941 whose husband is missing. Maria wants to find her husband and Afonso wants to believe that Maria's story is, or rather, was real.”
We need support to pay our actors and hired team members, as well as catering, travel expenses and of course applications for film festivals all around the world. In exchange for your support we can offer our investors not only the movie in digital form but also an honorable mention in our final credits. Besides being shown at our University's short films festival “Greatest Hits 2017” on the 13th and 14th of June, we still mean for it to be present at several film festivals nationally and internationally, approching a wider audience.
The team has fifteen people and the project will be filmed in Porto and Crestuma, Gondomar. We are still in pre-production but we will keep the campaign updated once we have the first trailer.
As of right now we have been able to obtain advertising support from Canal Superior and Metro do Porto. We are very commited to making this project something serious and impactfull for our future, so all the support you can give us, even if little, will be a great help to us. If in doubt, we can send you a document proving that this is an academic work for the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto.
