Livro "Bia por um triz"

Bia by a triz tells a story based on the real facts of an abandoned cat on the street that was able to fall in love again with humans.

Cats are beings eternally grateful to life. No matter how bad it may have happened to them because they are able to regenerate their emotions and be at the same time sensitive to what is going on around them.

In the company of my cats I learned that life is always a new path every day.

Thus is born "Bia por um Triz", a book that tells, in simple language, the adventures of one of my cats: Bia.

This book is not meant to be just another book to entertain ...

Defending animal rights and demystifying the personality of cats are some of the reasons why I wrote this book.

About the author

Rosária Grácio was born in 1965 in Angola. In spite of the progressive visual deficiency finished the degree in Solicitadoria, dedicating itself now to the painting and the poetry.

Between 1991 and 1999 she made several painting exhibitions especially in the north of Portugal and since then Rosário Grácio always made a point of writing for each of her paintings a poem that considers the soul and personality of her works.

With the visually impaired to progress, not knowing for how much time can still have the faculty of vision, began to teach the art of painting and drawing to her husband and with him and his brother integrates the Grécio Caetano Atelier.

In order for her works to continue to be associated with poetry, Rosária Grácio created a YouTube channel where she has presented in small films the works with their respective poems.

Along with artistic art, it rekindles its literary vein. Since childhood he has expressed an interest in writing stories. Many of these are based on personal experiences because life is the best storyteller that always surprises us ...

He begins writing "Bia por um tril" about two years ago, when he first experiences adopting an adult cat. Bia, arrives to him in the hands after several events that also marked the personal history of Rosária Grácio.

It does not matter that an incurable and irreversible disease can take the vision out of your eyes, Rosária Grácio, continues to paint through the writing, which sees with the vision of the heart because it sees much better when the sight of the eyes begins to die.

Budget and due dates

The retail price for the book "Bia por um Triz" will be 10€ per copy. My commitment to the publisher is to acquire 200 copies for the price of € 7 per copy, which makes a total of € 1400.

And it is this value of € 1,400 that I ask you with this campaign.

My goal is to make the "Bia por um Triz" come to fruition in a book.

If by chance the amount collected is higher, it will be used to pay the following expenses:

- 5% commission (+ VAT) for the crowdfunding platform (this same one where they read me!

- Commissions of payments (2.5% + VAT included) that from January 1, 2017 will be borne by the promoters and not by the supporters.

- Postage costs of cards and books for people who will not be with me physically.

- The expenses with the printing of the postcards that I will deliver personally or I will send by mail, free of charge, to whoever acquires the book.

 As you might imagine, this is a large sum and who knows me, you know, that editing this book goes far beyond my financial possibilities.

However, this book is a very special project for me because it represents a surpassing of my visual deficiency because regardless of my limitations, I can not stand still.

That is where I would like to have you as concretizes of this project!

Quite simply, what I ask of you, is nothing more, nothing less, than to get the book before you even leave! There are, of course, other rewards, as you can see here on the platform, but that's basically what it's all about!

The maximum period for publishing the books is 4 months after signing the contract with the publisher, so at this time I can not give you a specific date, because, I will only sign the contract if I can collect the necessary amount.

After the book is published, the rewards will be sent. However, some of the rewards such as postcards and portrait paintings can be made and sent before the book is edited. I believe that at the time of the presentation of the book in Lisbon, all my supporters have already been contacted about the delivery or delivery of the other rewards.
