By using crowdfunding to finance a video, Antonio Costa's campaign became the first political crowdfunding campaign in Europe.

Impulso Positivo magazine published, in its May-June 2013 edition, an article about PPL and BES Crowdfunding.

RTP África

Two of the PPL projects currently active were showcased in RTP África show Bem-vindos.

Francisca presented Medicina Mais Perto: Moçambique and explained why the Students Board of the Lisbon Medical School dediced to use crowdfunding.

Lyan talked about his first album, Eu Acredito, and the musical influences in his work.

Both shared their experiences, including the most effective communication approaches and the other activities they did during the crowdfunding campaign.

 
OJE - O Jornal Económico

Portuguese economic newspaper "O Jornal Económico" writes about crowdfunding and how it can jumpstart small businesses, following the example of PPL's Vem aí a Troika card game.

ECO 123

The recently created ECO 123 Magazine is an independent, quarterly, trilingual publication, dedicated to the dissemination of information about the economy and ecology in Portugal, the EU and the world.

In its first edition, ECO 123 talked with Pedro Domingos and published an article about crowdfunding and PPL. Other crowdfunding projects that fit in the magazine's scope will also be published in the following editions.

Jornal de Negócios

Article about crowdfunding in Jornal de Negócios (daily economics newspaper), with an interview to Pedro Domingos.

SIC Notícias

The subject of this week's edition of Falar Global, a SIC Notícias TV series about technology, was crowdfunding and entrepreneurship.

Antena 3

Public radio broadcaster Antena 3 will dig in Portuguese crowdfunding universe through a series of articles about specific PPL music cases.

The first work in the series is about The Poppers and it's available in Antena 3's website.

SOL

Program Este Sábado, from Antena 1 (Portuguese public radio broadcast), made a story about PPL and crowdfunding.

Includes interviews with project owner of Música em Pó and Track Student, in addition to Yoann Nesme and Pedro Domingos.

TV Record Europa

Program Fala Portugal, from TV Record Europa, produced a report about crowdfunding.

Besides presenting and explaining the concept, it includes three different projects crowfinanced in PPL: TrackStudent, X.TO and Patagónia Luso Expedition.

«Crowdfunding strengthens in austerity period» is the title of public television's clip, shown in today's news.

PPL and its recent financed project, Primitive Reason, are mentioned in the clip, which is available in the RTP website.

PRI's The World

Radio program The World released a story about crowdfunding in Portugal.

Interview to PPL's Paulo Silva Pereira and composer Luis Tinoco, who recently completed the funding for his latest work through PPL.

Journalist Monica Campbell mentions that "While Kickstarter made crowdfunding mainstream in the US, it’s still new to Portugal. That’s because artists here are used to institutional funding". However, with Europe’s economic crisis dragging on, "key arts supporters, including the culture ministry, dissolved. Major foundations and commissioners retreated".
